There are many
styles and forms of martial arts. Throughout the
centuries, each one has proven to work and be beneficial. Airwolf has taken the best and the most practical
of many different techniques and combined them to create a
fabulous workout for the entire body. Adults and children
will develop confidence, pride, and mental focus, not
only in the studio, but also at work, school, and in
other areas of their life. For
children enrolled in Little Kickers or Kids Tae Kwon Do,
the physical benefits are remarkable. They will develop
speed, stamina, and strength through our focus on drills,
relays, and running ‘games’. They will also develop
increased coordination and muscle memory from learning
their punching and kicking techniques, as well as
committing their katas to memory and making them a part of
themselves. Not only is this a physical challenge, but
also one of the mind. Making a body do what you want it to
do takes great concentration, focus, and patience. It is
not easy at first, but as the children work hard and
finally realize they are hitting the bag in the center or
they have learned the first kata, their sense of
accomplishment is theirs.
In contrast, they are also asked to sit
for periods of time and watch their fellow students. All
of this leads to better concentration skills, patience,
self-confidence, and greater responsibility at school and
at home. For their hard work, the children receive stripes
for techniques learned within a belt level and belts for
completion of all items in a belt level. Airwolf feels
that children should not be ‘mass tested’ but tested
according to their abilities and only when Master Edgar is
certain that they will succeed. Airwolf wants this to be a
fun and encouraging part of their lives and hope's they will
come to class with enthusiasm and determination.
For adults, developing and maintaining a
physically fit body and a quick focused mind are essential
to getting the most out of your life. In our programs, you
will experience a fun and unique approach to self-defense,
total body fitness, and coordination that will exercise
your body and mind. Flexibility will be enhanced through
safe and easy stretching techniques. Breathing and
concentration exercises will sharpen your senses and
reflexes while allowing you to focus on relaxation and
elimination of stress. This unique combination of using

for increased energy, total fitness, and the ability and
